About us
Engineering-Led AI and Automation
DevRox is a team of engineers, designers and automation specialists building intelligent software for growing businesses. We take on the systems that a company depends on daily, and we hold them to production standards.

Who we are
Our Story
DevRox started as a small engineering team building internal tools for operations-heavy businesses. The pattern was always the same: valuable work buried under repetitive work, and software that had been bolted together rather than designed.
We now build AI-powered applications, autonomous agents, voice systems and workflow automation, alongside the web and mobile products those systems sit behind. What has not changed is the approach — understand the process first, use AI only where judgement is genuinely required, and leave behind something a different team could pick up and maintain.
We are deliberate about what we do not claim. There are no award badges or vendor certifications on this site, because we would rather point you at the work and let you judge it.

Direction
Mission & Vision
Why the studio exists, and the standard we are trying to move the market towards.
Our Mission
To make advanced technology genuinely useful for ordinary businesses — replacing repetitive work with systems that are reliable, measurable and understood by the people who depend on them.
Our Vision
A market where AI and automation are held to the same engineering standards as any other production system: tested, observable, documented and accountable for the outcomes they claim.
Principles
How We Operate
Four commitments that decide how engagements actually run.
Clarity before code
We write the problem down and agree on it before estimating. Ambiguity is the most expensive thing in software.
Evidence over hype
Model and platform choices are made against evaluation cases, not marketing claims.
You own everything
Code, infrastructure and documentation are yours from day one. No lock-in, no hostage architecture.
Built to be maintained
The next engineer to open the codebase matters as much as the one who wrote it.
Capabilities
What We Do Well
The disciplines we keep in-house, so engagements do not stall waiting on a third party.
Applied AI engineering
Agent architectures, retrieval systems, structured extraction and evaluation harnesses that keep quality measurable over time.
Process automation
Orchestrated workflows with retries, idempotency, alerting and audit trails across the tools your business already runs on.
Product engineering
Full-stack web and mobile development, from data model and API design through to a maintained design system.
Real-time voice systems
Telephony integration, low-latency conversation handling, transcription and CRM write-back for inbound and outbound calling.
Systems integration
Resilient connections between CRMs, databases, payment platforms and third-party APIs, with drift detection built in.
Infrastructure & delivery
Containerised environments, CI pipelines, staged rollouts and the monitoring needed to operate a system confidently.
Stack
Technologies We Work With
A deliberately focused stack. We go deep on a small number of tools rather than claiming breadth we cannot support in production.
Frontend
Interfaces that stay fast and accessible as products grow.
- ReactComponent architecture and state management
- Next.jsApp Router, server components, streaming
- TypeScriptEnd-to-end type safety
- Tailwind CSSToken-driven design systems
Backend
Typed services and APIs built to be observable in production.
- Node.jsEvent-driven services and job workers
- ExpressLightweight HTTP and webhook endpoints
- PythonData processing and AI pipelines
- FastAPITyped Python APIs with generated schemas
Database
Data models designed for the queries the product needs.
- PostgreSQLRelational core, migrations, row-level security
- MongoDBFlexible documents for evolving schemas
- MySQLEstablished relational workloads
- FirebaseRealtime sync and mobile-first persistence

- VercelEdge delivery and preview deployments
- DockerContainerised, reproducible builds
- GitHub ActionsCI checks, tests and release pipelines
Process
How We Work
A predictable four-step engagement. You always know what stage we are at, what is being decided, and what exists at the end of it.
01
Discover
Understand the business, goals, users and existing workflows.
- Stakeholder interviews and workflow walkthroughs
- Audit of current tools, data and integration points
- Constraints, compliance needs and success metrics
Output: A written problem definition everyone agrees on.
02
Plan
Define the architecture, technology stack and automation strategy.
- Solution architecture and data model
- Build-versus-configure decisions per component
- Scoped delivery plan with milestones and risks
Output: An architecture and a plan you can hold us to.
03
Build
Design, develop and integrate the complete solution.
- Interface design against a shared design system
- Incremental delivery with a usable environment each cycle
- Integrations, automated tests and evaluation of AI behaviour
Output: Working software in a real environment, every cycle.
04
Launch & Optimize
Deploy, monitor and continuously improve the system.
- Staged rollout with monitoring and alerting in place
- Team enablement, documentation and handover
- Measurement against the metrics agreed in discovery
Output: A monitored system and a prioritised improvement backlog.
Why us
Why Clients Work With Us
The reasons companies stay past the first engagement.
AI-First Thinking
We use AI where it creates measurable business value.
Before anything is built we identify which parts of a process genuinely need judgement and which just need reliable logic. AI goes where it earns its place, and we measure the difference it makes.
Custom Solutions
Every system is designed around the client's actual workflow.
We start from how your team really works, including the exceptions and workarounds, rather than bending your process to fit a template.
Modern Technology
We use modern frameworks and scalable architecture.
Typed codebases, tested integrations and reproducible deployments. Choices are made for the next three years of the product, not just the launch.
Automation Mindset
We eliminate repetitive work wherever possible.
Every engagement leaves behind fewer manual steps than it started with — in your operations and in the delivery pipeline itself.
Long-Term Partnership
We build systems that can evolve with the business.
Documented architecture, readable code and real handover, so your team can extend the system with or without us.
